The Modern
Drill Sergeant

Our goal with this project was to tell the story of the "modern" drill sergeant who trains soldiers for today's Army. This story aims to shed light on what it can mean to have a successful career in the U.S. Army as a drill seargeant, and how becoming a leader can impact many. This project was created in partnership with the U.S. Army and Men's Health. Fun fact, this was shot in a single day.

The Story.

This is the story of two active U.S. Army Drill Sergeants, SSG Devante Mclean, and SG Elizabeth Calderon. Each shares their take on what it took them to become leaders, and why they go out of their way to develop leadership skills in others.
