About
I am a Creative Producer and Director based in New York. I draw inspiration from fine art photography, documentary, modern art, short-form social content, and real-life storytelling, among other things. My favorite story to capture is the unexpected of what's there, happening in real-time, with the best available light. While I am passionate about longer-form cinematic storytelling, I believe in the impact of social-first video and enjoy the challenge of creating both simultaneously for today's modern audience.
Before I began creative producing and directing, I worked as a digital colorist and freelanced in many roles in the grip, lighting, and camera departments. This additional experience provided me with an extensive technical background that I utilize in all my work and gave me a deep respect for the technical departments. I love bringing a visual edge to each project and figuring out fresh ways to captivate the ever-scrolling audience.
I currently work full-time for Hearst Magazines as the Director of Video Production for HearstMade, a team specializing in digital branded content. At HearstMade, I continue to produce and direct video content while overseeing our team of creative producers and their projects from pre-sale to creative development and production, amongst many other things.
Outside of work, I love all things outdoors, rock climbing, cycling, trail running, hiking, and snowboarding. I spend a decent amount of non-work time volunteering with my favorite adaptive climbing organization, ParaCliffHangers, as a board member, event photographer, and regular volunteer.
