A Night Untethered
A Night Untethered was a short film created as part of a larger 360-degree content plan surrounding the Harper's Bazaar ICONS event, appearing in both digital and photography from the shoot in print.
The director, Janssen Powers, had an immaculate vision for the piece. He wanted a whimsical story of adventure and fashion, all shot on Super 16 film. Our crew took over the iconic Plaza Hotel for two days, pre-lighting and shooting on a rigorous music video-esque schedule. We made our way through the Plaza kitchen, the famous Palm Court, iconic hallways, and a maze of lights, and ended the shoot day chronologically on the rooftop, sharing Stella Artois. It was a whirlwind of an experience bringing this to life, and many hands helped create something beautiful. Our film was recognized and won the Audience Choice and Judge's Choice categories at the 2019 Webby Awards.
I served as the creative producer of this film. I had the opportunity to lead the creative production, lead the director's outreach and selection, oversee the creative in production, work with the client on set, secure editor talent for post-production needs, and oversee creative elements through the post-production to meet client needs.
